Job Title: Cloud Administrator

Job Summary:

Vistrada is seeking a skilled Cloud Administrator to manage and optimize our cloud computing systems. As a Cloud Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain cloud computing systems, including infrastructure, platforms, and applications.
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing costs.
  • Implement and enforce cloud security policies, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with on-premises systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including technical guides, user manuals, and knowledge base articles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics.
  • Experience with DevOps methods and practices.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Hadoop/Cloud System Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, or AWS Certified Developer Associate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience writing software scripts using scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python.
  • Demonstrated fundamental understanding and working knowledge of core components of the Linux operating system.
  • Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting large-scale cloud computing systems.
  • Strong experience with Linux and/or Windows systems administration.
  • Some programming experience, applicable to developing cloud management tools.
  • Demonstrated experience with configuration management tools.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end Linux PXE/Network provisioning process.
  • Familiarity with managing continuous integration tools.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services.
  • Understanding of overall corporate architecture.
