We are seeking a skilled Production Worker to join our Power Grids division at our Crystal Springs, MS facility. As a key member of our team, you will perform general labor to manufacture world-class transformers for the high voltage & power transformer markets.
Key Responsibilities- Perform duties in a heavy manufacturing environment, following specific directions and safety procedures.
- Use engineering drawings to wind, assemble, and fabricate product, ensuring high-quality results.
- Manually assemble material used in transformer manufacturing, working in a hands-on environment.
- Operate semi-automatic and manual winding machines, as well as machinery to fabricate material.
- Use computer systems to check schedules, update manufacturing status, and complete paperwork.
- Monitor quality of work, addressing and resolving inquiries and problems.
- Participate in continuous improvements initiatives and team meetings.
- Interface with other departments to communicate information and assist in training other employees.
- At least three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school degree or GED.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety procedures, work instructions, and assembly drawings.
- Physical ability to stand/walk for 8 hours, lift 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
