Job Description:

The Emergency Medical Dispatcher is a vital role within our team, responsible for dispatching emergency services with precision and efficiency. Key responsibilities include triaging calls based on severity, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with electronic patient care reporting systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Triage emergency calls using an approved Emergency Medical Dispatch program
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient transports
  • Collaborate with EPIC and iPCR (or other electronic patient care reporting system) to ensure seamless data exchange

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; EMT education preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year prior dispatch/communication experience
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products
  • Must obtain Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist (CADS) within 1 year from hire date

Work Environment:

This is a part-time opportunity, requiring flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. As a member of the Baptist Health team, you will enjoy a dynamic work environment that values teamwork, innovation, and clinical excellence.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
