About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at UofL Health – Medical Center Southwest, located in Louisville, KY.

As a vital member of our Emergency Department, you will provide direct nursing care to patients while adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs and developing individualized plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Hold a current RN license in Kentucky or be eligible for licensure.
  • Possess an Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
