About the Role

BorgWarner is seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our team in either Hazel Park, MI or Warren, MI. As an Assembly Operator, you will play a critical role in the production of High Voltage Battery systems for commercial vehicle applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble battery systems with attention to detail and quality.
  • Operate production equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor production parameters and report any deviations or quality defects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and 5S standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
  • Interest in electrical engineering processes and general production knowledge.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
