A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of duties in a fast-paced environment, including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Launch activity and ensure all machinery is functional for production
- Perform preventative maintenance and respond to maintenance calls to the line
- Analyze and measure machinery performance and recommend improvement processes
- Repair broken/defective equipment and ensure lockout/tagout procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and track production downtime
- Document process improvements and report out any continuous improvement
- High school diploma/GED
- 2+ years of experience working in a production environment
- Technical certification preferred in electrical, robotic, mechanical, or fabrication
- Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of building maintenance and ability to read and understand building schematics
