We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dentist to serve as the Associate Chief of Staff - Dental Service at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center. Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and management of the dental service, including administrative and clinical duties.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor dental staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure to practice dentistry in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Completion of a residency program in general practice or specialty, or comparable experience as a dentist actively involved in treating medically compromised patients.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
