Claims Adjuster Role

At Progressive Insurance, we're seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a Claims Adjuster, you'll play a critical role in investigating and resolving bodily injury claims, ensuring our customers receive fair and timely compensation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations into bodily injury claims, gathering details through interviews and evidence collection.
  • Make informed decisions regarding coverage and liability, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Settle unrepresented bodily injury claims, calculating benefit payments and approving payments within defined limits.
  • Collaborate with customers, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Four years of relevant work experience, with at least one year in claims handling.
  • Associate's degree and three years of relevant work experience, with at least one year in claims handling.
  • Bachelor's degree and one year of claims handling experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Auto and/or commercial insurance experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $65,800 - $85,100/year salary.
  • Gainshare bonus up to 16% of eligible earnings based on company performance.
