Line Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible individual to fill the role of Line Quality Control at Jessie Lord Bakery, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all pies meet our high standards of quality and are produced according to our recipes and specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, count, and verify quantities and lot numbers of all material needed for production.
- Check and record weight, dough, and filling temperatures.
- Set up the pie counter and complete required QA and production paperwork.
- Record and report all material used and any issues or discrepancies in production.
- Remove products from the line that don't meet specifications and notify line lead, supervisors, and manager.
- Train new candidates and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
- Immediately report and assist in the elimination or control of any food safety issues observed.
- Monitor and enforce cGMPs and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Pre-requisite programs.
- Ability to understand written and oral direction in English and/or Spanish.
- Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 Lbs.
- Frequently push/pull up to 50 Lbs.
- Ability to walk through production areas.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Available to work different shifts.
Pay Range: $18.25 per hour. Pay scale is based on experience and education.
