Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting budget and quality standards.
  • Negotiate with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies to resolve critical and controversial issues.
  • Develop and maintain extensive contacts with key engineers and officials of other organizations and companies, requiring skill in persuasion and negotiation.
  • Prepare proposals, conduct interviews, and negotiate contracts with clients after selection.
  • Deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Identify need for and direct subconsultants performing services on projects.
  • Active in professional associations, including presentations of technical papers, member of technical committees, and officer of local or national organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer.
  • 10-15 years of directly-relevant experience in Wastewater Engineering working with wastewater treatment facilities and wastewater collection systems.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in the design and construction phase of small, medium, and large-sized infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
