Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Consultant/Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Neighborcare Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary primary care medical team, you will provide behavioral health services to patients with mental health, substance use, and health behavior concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, culturally sensitive health services that meet organizational productivity expectations.
  • Conduct brief behavioral health assessments and interventions for patients across the lifespan, addressing a range of psychopathology, substance misuse, and health-compromising behaviors.
  • Work collaboratively with primary care providers and consulting psychiatric providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce unhealthy substance use and promote healthy behaviors.
  • Maintain accurate patient electronic medical charts and attend meetings as directed by supervisors.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree (doctoral or masters) in a clinical mental health field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a team-based medical setting.
  • Full, active, and unrestricted mental health license in Washington State.
