Overview

The Employee Benefits Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting our clients, their workforce, and the benefits team to ensure effective and precise benefits management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address all client inquiries received during standard business hours within a 4-hour timeframe.
  • Deliver outstanding service to clients and employees, as evidenced by NPS and client feedback.
  • Process all benefits transactions with an accuracy rate exceeding 95%.
  • Document all client interactions in the designated CRM system.
Specific Duties
  • Submit, audit, and reconcile weekly Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) files.
  • Oversee COBRA enrollments, audits, employee communications, and payment processing.
  • Assist with 401K setups, deconversions, and respond to tier 1 client inquiries regarding retirement plans.
  • Manage qualifying life events for employees, including document collection and dependent enrollment/un-enrollment.
  • Lead the ACA audit process and collaborate with Benefit Consultants to ensure compliance for clients.
  • Support the benefits team during the open enrollment period, including the creation of presentations and enrollment processes.
