Job Summary

We are seeking a Development Manager to join our team in Bend, Oregon. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing our fundraising program, cultivating strong community relationships, and meeting annual fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects and current donors, including individual donors, major gifts, and planned giving.
  • Develop and implement an annual giving program, including direct mail, matching gifts, monthly giving, and online giving.
  • Manage the effective use of data related to donors, donor recognition, and fundraising activities.
  • Foster a culture of gratitude that ensures supporters at all levels of giving are cultivated and respected.
  • Creatively develop and lead signature fundraising events, including in-person and virtual options.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in fundraising and development.
  • CFRE certification preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and growing sources of revenue.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently, handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong program management skills with an understanding of how to use data to build healthy and thriving donor pipelines across various fundraising programs.
