Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate PCU Registered Nurse to join our team at Trident Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our department.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the care of critically ill patients, including those with cardiac and respiratory conditions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a critical care setting, preferably in a PCU or ICU environment.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications, with the ability to obtain ACLS within six months of hire.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
