We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Versa Recruiting, LLC. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients with critical illness and ventilator management, responding to Code Blue situations and initiating protocols as needed.
- Manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for examination, and arranging for testing and admissions.
- Provide education and instructions to patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Maintain and review patient records, including posting test results and examination findings.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Ensure rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and respond to incoming telephone calls, including phone triage as needed.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
- Prior acute care Registered Nurse experience required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider certification.
