Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Autism Behavior Technician. This role will provide direct, programmed instruction utilizing the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to individuals enrolled in our Life Long Interventions program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior analytic interventions, targeting skill acquisition and behavior reduction, as designed by supervising consultants.
  • Manage difficult behaviors, such as aggression, self-injury, and property destruction, according to procedures outlined by supervisors.
  • Collect and track participant behavior data throughout therapy sessions, following guidelines provided by supervisors.
  • Document session activities and participant behavior in a timely manner, submitting reports to supervisors.
  • Participate in training related to applied behavior analysis and autism to ensure delivery of high-quality care.
  • Attend off-site supervision meetings with case consultants, as needed.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other behavior technicians to facilitate effective communication.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must be nearing completion or have completed a Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Individuals are not required to be registered as behavior technicians (RBT) with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) prior to their start date.
  • Prior completion of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification requirements is encouraged.
