Key Responsibilities:
- Offer expert consultation and support to the clinical team on mental health and substance use disorders.
- Provide psychopharmacology consultation and education to enhance treatment effectiveness.
- Coordinate mental health and addiction treatment services, ensuring alignment with established treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to manage complex mental health cases effectively.
- Establish and uphold behavioral health medical policies and protocols in partnership with the Director of Behavioral Health.
- Supervise all psychiatric services provided within the department.
Work Environment: This role is based in a community health setting, focusing exclusively on outpatient services. The position operates Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.
