Job Title: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Harmony United Psychiatric Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team of mental health professionals. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to determine your working hours and provide comprehensive, full-service outpatient mental health services to patients in Lakeland, FL.

About Us

Harmony United Psychiatric Care is a network of outpatient mental health clinics providing comprehensive, full-service outpatient mental health services in Florida through in-person and virtual visits. Our team of mental health professionals includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists/neuropsychologists, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners, certified physician assistants, and licensed therapists. We care for adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above, treating each patient with compassion and respect.

Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
  • Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
  • Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
  • Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Up to $130 per hour.
  • Group malpractice insurance.
Work Schedule and Flexibility
  • Determine your own working hours as an independent contractor.
  • Offices open Monday-Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments.
  • Availability to work via telemedicine Friday-Sunday.
  • Option to work 50% telemedicine from the beginning of employment.
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or one year of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner plus three years as a Nurse Practitioner in any specialty.
  • Board-certified to practice.
  • Active license in the State of Florida.
