About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Preventionist to join our team at Crestview Center in Langhorne, PA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective infection prevention and control strategies to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP) to prevent and control infections and communicable diseases within the nursing center.
  • Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control best practices, including new hire orientation and ongoing education programs.
  • Conduct surveillance and monitoring of infection control activities, including outbreak management and employee health.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address infection control needs and develop strategies to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent nursing experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet with employees working evening and night shifts.
