Benevolence Health Centers Representative

Benevolence Health Centers is seeking a skilled Call Center Representative to join our team. This position involves performing various tasks related to patient appointment scheduling, telephone operations, and provider template implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to all incoming calls, redirecting questions and messages to relevant staff or departments, and provide information to existing and potential patients about clinic services.
- Provide assistance with appointment-related information for internal and external customers, including physical presence at assigned locations.
- Develop, implement, and communicate provider templates as assigned by the supervisor.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility as needed.
- Generate printed appointment schedules for the next day(s) and distribute copies to relevant departments and staff.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and respectful attitude while performing duties.
- Ensure patient information is handled with confidentiality and respect.
- Support the Center's mission of delivering quality care and promoting patient satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
- The ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish is crucial.
- Experience with multi-button telephones, computers, and other business equipment is necessary.
- Learners must adapt to the Center's computer and telephone system within three months of hire.
- Excellent telephone and customer service relations skills are vital.
Salary Estimate: The estimated annual salary range for this position is between $35,000 and $50,000, based on experience.
