About the Role

Benevolence Health Centers is seeking a skilled Call Center Representative to join our team. This position involves performing various tasks related to patient appointment scheduling, telephone operations, and provider template implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to all incoming calls, redirecting questions and messages to relevant staff or departments, and provide information to existing and potential patients about clinic services.
  2. Provide assistance with appointment-related information for internal and external customers, including physical presence at assigned locations.
  3. Develop, implement, and communicate provider templates as assigned by the supervisor.
  4. Verify patient insurance eligibility as needed.
  5. Generate printed appointment schedules for the next day(s) and distribute copies to relevant departments and staff.
  6. Maintain a professional, courteous, and respectful attitude while performing duties.
  7. Ensure patient information is handled with confidentiality and respect.
  8. Support the Center's mission of delivering quality care and promoting patient satisfaction.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
  • The ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish is crucial.
  • Experience with multi-button telephones, computers, and other business equipment is necessary.
  • Learners must adapt to the Center's computer and telephone system within three months of hire.
  • Excellent telephone and customer service relations skills are vital.

Salary Estimate: The estimated annual salary range for this position is between $35,000 and $50,000, based on experience.
