Job Title: Retail Sales Coordinator

At BD Holt Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and organized Retail Sales Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our sales operations team, you will play a critical role in coordinating with our outside sales team to drive sales growth and improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Customer-Facing Proposals: Collaborate with sales representatives to develop proposals for new and used machine sales, attachments, and service agreements.
  • Support Sales Operations: Leverage your advanced understanding of sales operations to prepare necessary documents and support the sales team throughout the sales process.
  • Improve Sales Efficiency: Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to increase profitability, accuracy, and effective use of merchandising support.
  • Inventory Management: Assist sales operations with inventory management to ensure accurate and efficient sales processes.
  • Financial Coordination: Coordinate the financial structure of machine sales, including credit release requests.
  • Relationship Building: Develop cross-departmental relationships to foster and support legendary customer service.
  • Process Improvement: Provide input and recommendations for process improvements, communication, and technology enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Knowledge: Possess advanced knowledge of compact construction equipment, basic knowledge of earth moving and excavation equipment, and knowledge of the construction equipment sales industry.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate knowledge of business accounting principles and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Possess advanced computer and related software applications skills, including MS Office Excel and PowerPoint, and intermediate MS Word skills.
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of three years of work-related experience, with a high school diploma or equivalent required and a Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
Work Environment:

This role is generally performed in a professional office environment, requiring frequent communication with others and occasional movement to access office machinery and file cabinets.
