Job Overview
The Hoover Met Complex is a renowned sports, recreation, and entertainment destination committed to enhancing the health and economic vitality of Hoover, Alabama. As a Facility Operations Manager, you will be part of a championship-level team focused on delivering exceptional experiences while fostering personal growth and career development.

**Key Responsibilities**
Manage various facilities within the complex, including Met Stadium, Finley Center, and grounds, ensuring they are in excellent working condition for guests. Coordinate set-ups, break-downs, and day-of-event activities with event management staff. Develop and implement routine schedules for maintenance, cleaning, and inspections. Monitor walkways, entryways, and flowerbeds to maintain a debris-free environment. Collaborate with the City of Hoover's Park Maintenance, Public Works, and Parks & Recreation departments.

**Requirements**
A bachelor's degree in facility management, recreation, or a related field, with a minimum of three years' experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in managing facilities, scheduling employees, maintaining grounds, and ensuring first-class customer service. Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiating skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours. Current CPR/FIRST AID, Certified Pool and Spa Operator, and Forklift Operator certifications are required.

**Work Environment and Physical Demands**
Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist-high, sit or stand for extended periods, squat, stoop, or bend, and operate a computer. The facility may have intermittent noise. Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
