Job Title: Digital Product Owner - Costco Wholesale IT

About the Role:

As a Digital Product Owner at Costco Wholesale IT, you will be responsible for defining requirements, assisting with the overall product roadmap/vision, and driving value at the scrum team level. You will work closely with teams and be the "voice of the customer," ensuring the needs of the end-user are incorporated into the product from design to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Defines and communicates the minimum viable product (MVP) for a given application/product and the supporting release plans.
* Collaborates with Product Managers and technology stakeholders to define new and/or enhanced product requirements and functionality.
* Works continuously with teams to provide answers, feedback, and direction on work items, enablers, user stories, etc.
* Consults Product Managers for guidance and clarity on the product vision, roadmap, requirements, etc.

Requirements:

* 5 years' experience as a Digital Development Product Owner in any industry; retail preferred.
* Excellent understanding of Digital Development ecosystems, business strategies, industry benchmarking.
* Proven experience working in understanding of Digital/e-commerce product development, understanding of the Digital/e-commerce application Ecosystems.
* Proven experience with creating documentation for communication with varied audiences.
* Proven experience working within a complex software development environment.
* Proven experience working on complex development projects.
* Deep understanding of business requirements elicitation pursuant to specific programs/projects involved.
* Expertise in utilizing standard documentation tools/utilities.
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Certified Product Owner.
* Deadline-oriented and capable of self-management.
* Strong work ethic, demonstrated attention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
* Ability to listen to and understand business needs.
