Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policy related to Medicaid and CHIP eligibility, enrollment, and managed care, working closely with states and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.
  • Policy Analysis: Analyze policy related to eligibility, enrollment, and managed care to identify and assess impact on Agency programs and policies, fiscal implications, and legislative initiatives.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to states and stakeholders on Medicaid and CHIP policy, including policy analysis, status reports, briefing papers, and policy recommendations.
  • Communication: Serve as a principal contact and resource for inquiries, providing clear and concise information on Medicaid and CHIP policy and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as public health, health administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a related field, including experience in policy development, analysis, and implementation.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions

This position requires a flexible work schedule, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. The selected candidate will be required to work in a office setting, with occasional travel to meetings and conferences.
