Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Cedars-Sinai. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general ward therapy procedures, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and volume expansion therapy.
  • Set up and manage continuous invasive and non-invasive ventilator systems, specialty gases, and related monitoring and encouraging adjuncts.
  • Train in the performance of arterial puncture for blood gas analysis.
  • Pursue additional training in subspecialty services, including perinatal/pediatric ventilator systems and pulmonary rehabilitation center procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in pulmonary function testing.
  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's Degree highly preferred).
  • Two (2) years of experience as a respiratory therapist in an acute care facility.
  • State of California as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
