Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Greenstone Staffing Solutions. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, running inspections, diagnostics tests, and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and equipment
  • Run inspections and diagnostics tests to identify issues and recommend repairs
  • Utilize computer diagnostics and fleet maintenance software programs to document part usage and account for repair time
  • Work closely with operations to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair processes
  • May be required to make road calls and assist in emergency situations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CDL license within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to push, pull, drag, and lift items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work at shoulder level with equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Hydraulics experience preferred, welding experience a plus
