Job Summary

The Operations Support Specialist will play a vital role in providing operational support by scheduling and dispatching field service employees to customer homes. This position requires partnering with customer service representatives and management, as well as completing all applicable administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Route service calls and provide scheduling advice to technicians and customers.
  • Promptly communicate with customer service representatives, technicians, and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide administrative assistance to other departments that intersect with the Service department.
  • Answer phones, schedule customers, and assist customers with inquiries as needed.
  • Manage data entry, including emails, text messages, and other communication tools, to efficiently route manpower and resources.
  • Maintain good customer relations, resolve claims and complaints fairly, and adhere to consumer laws.
  • Foster a positive work environment by following company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience working in an office setting, with a minimum of 20% of daily duties assisting customers over the phone.
  • General computer competency, including at least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work overtime with minimal notice and adapt to weekends schedules occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the HVAC industry or a large service organization.
  • Completed college coursework.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you'll enjoy benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
