Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Lieutenant, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) is responsible for providing administrative and analytical support to the Executive Office and commands under the Assistant Commissioners. The AGPA will conduct research, prepare reports, analyze data, review staff work, recommend corrections, track projects, and draft and format memos, letters, and other correspondence.

Working Conditions

The AGPA will work in an office environment, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and external stakeholders.

Special Requirements
  • The position requires a Background Investigation clearance prior to being hired.
  • A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required and must be submitted with the application to be considered for this position.
  • The SOQ should be typed, 8-1/2 x 11 size paper, Arial 11-point font, and no more than two (2) pages in length.

The AGPA will be responsible for ensuring projects are handled to completion, managing multiple tasks with competing priorities, and meeting stringent deadlines. The position requires self-initiative, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
