Job Description and Duties

The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) is responsible for overseeing the investigation and cleanup of contaminated properties within a designated area. As an Associate Governmental Program Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of this mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer contracts, work orders, and field orders related to site investigations and cleanup projects.
  • Review contractor invoices to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Serve as a liaison between Division staff and the Contracts/Business Management Unit.
  • Research, develop, and provide analysis to management and staff on various topics.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and reports to summarize data and present findings.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience reviewing contractor invoices and ensuring compliance with contract terms.
  • Ability to work independently and detail-oriented.
  • Record keeping skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
Working Conditions:

The position requires a valid California Driver's License (CDL) and a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required for the hiring manager's review.
