Under the supervision from the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) is responsible for performing the more complex, technical analytical duties in support of the Department of Conservation (DOC), Program Administration Unit in areas such as contracting, budgeting, evaluation, and planning. While fulfilling these duties, the incumbent works closely with program management and will be required to utilize a variety of analytical techniques to resolve complex governmental problems, interact with key personnel on various issues, provide consultative services to management as a subject matter expert, and prepare reports as needed. Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. Working Conditions:

This position is located in Sacramento and may be eligible for a hybrid telework schedule. Employees must reside in California and be able to satisfactorily perform their essential work functions independently and remotely.

Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview but must show proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment.
