  • Prepare conceptual engineering drawings that align with client development goals and findings from due diligence.
  • Design stormwater management and conveyance systems, utilizing hydrology design software. Candidates should be adept at performing pipe sizing calculations and evaluating drainage area maps, surface runoff coefficients, and hydraulic grade lines.
  • Engage in grading design and earthwork analysis.
  • Design utility systems, including sanitary sewer systems and water distribution networks, ensuring compliance with fire flow calculations.
  • Implement soil erosion and sediment control measures.
  • Prepare construction cost estimates and coordinate project activities, including participation in team meetings.
  • Draft written correspondence with external agencies, clients, and contractors, along with technical reports related to drainage and site investigations.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred; an Associate's Degree or equivalent may be considered.
  • 0-5 years of experience in land development civil engineering, particularly in drainage and stormwater design.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter with a keen desire to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced professionals.
