Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Overview:

The Full-Charge Bookkeeper plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of Impact Christian Schools. This position entails the meticulous management of financial documentation, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations. The individual will also be responsible for generating financial reports, ensuring the integrity of financial records, adhering to accounting standards, and facilitating audit procedures for the organization and its associated schools. A high level of attention to detail and exceptional organizational capabilities are vital for this role, which supports the schools in delivering a holistic educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain accurate financial records and transactions
  • Prepare, review, and interpret financial statements
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Maintain accurate journal entries and accruals
  • Support budgeting and financial planning initiatives

Qualifications:

Education: A college degree in business or a related field, or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping
