We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to enhance our professional team. This role involves supporting the logistics of our operations by managing the receipt of materials, as well as the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate shipping and receiving processes, including coordinating with freight carriers for efficient pick-up and delivery.
  • Interpret customer orders and work orders to determine the necessary items for movement or distribution.
  • Organize materials on shelves or in bins according to established criteria such as size, type, or product code.
  • Process sales orders and requests for materials, ensuring accurate distribution to designated areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials received or distributed using our inventory management system.
  • Conduct weighing and counting of items to verify compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure the warehouse and work areas are kept orderly and clean at all times.
  • Utilize resources efficiently to achieve job objectives.

Required Competencies:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Possess a basic understanding of product codes and terminology.
  • Show analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions regarding inventory.
  • Perform basic mathematical operations in various units of measure.
  • Familiarity with computer programs is preferred.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Previous forklift operation experience is required.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the flooring industry is advantageous.
  • Experience with RFMS systems is a plus.
