Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive case management services, including crisis intervention, discharge planning, and both group and individual counseling related to mental health and substance use disorders.
- Ensure precise and timely documentation while fulfilling minimum billing standards for direct client interactions.
- Coordinate placements, conduct pre-placement visits, and arrange transportation as necessary.
- Provide field-based services tailored to program and client requirements.
- Uphold client confidentiality at all times.
- Advocate for clients as they navigate the justice system, serving as a liaison with probation, parole, correctional facilities, and other relevant organizations.
- Engage in program meetings and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree with a minimum of two years of experience in social services, or a bachelor's degree accompanied by four years of relevant experience.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
- Preferred experience in mental health and substance use disorder services.
- Understanding of cultural competency is essential.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) software is advantageous.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to meet physical requirements, including visual, auditory, and verbal communication, as well as bending, moving in confined spaces, and navigating various facilities.
- Capability to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
