Job Title: Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager

Ajasianfoods is seeking a highly skilled Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to provide technical support to our assigned plant(s) and ensure compliance with local and corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve environmental, safety and health programs to ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate plant activities to support local and corporate objectives, and influence behavior to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Provide oversight to designated plant(s) to ensure compliance with all corporate EHS programs and policies.
  • Develop and maintain equipment-specific LOTO procedures and conduct employee training.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to prevent injuries and illnesses.
  • Support Behavior Based Safety (BBS) initiatives and drive participation through data analysis and coaching.
  • Lead post-accident investigations, root cause analysis, and mitigation efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as PSM, RMP, SWPPP, etc.
  • Monitor safety and health regulations and provide technical support to the plant to ensure compliance.
  • Engage in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Track and report safety metrics and performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Safety or a STEM-related discipline.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an environmental, health and safety role.
  • Minimum three (3) years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety and health programs, policies, risk identification and control strategies, and federal and state regulations.
  • Completion of OSHA 30 course required.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to focus on details.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with others to achieve desired results.
  • Self-starter with ability to work alone or in a team environment with limited supervision.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and presentation skills.
Working Conditions:

The employee will be required to move about the plant, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel/hold objects, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, speak, hear, taste, and smell.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
