Scrum Master Role

Costco Travel IT is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, driving transformation efforts to build the next generation retail environment. As a Scrum Master, you will be part of a dedicated and highly professional team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, and showcases/demos.
  • Support the Product Owner in creating, refining, and prioritizing user stories within the product backlog.
  • Participate in Scrum-of-Scrum (SoS) to manage dependencies across multiple product/application teams.
  • Remediate blockers and issues identified by team members to ensure timely completion of sprint deliverables.
  • Provide coaching to team members to adopt agile practices and disciplines.
  • Conduct maturity assessments to identify leading practices and opportunity areas for team growth.
  • Support program planning activities, including integrated planning workshops and program increment planning sessions.
  • Develop and present sprint-level reports to technology and business stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5 years' experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment or a Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Experience managing at least two or more Scrum teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience optimizing SDLC processes to improve quantity and quality of work.
  • Ability to manage project delivery planning, estimating, budgeting, and metrics reporting.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate technical delivery risks.
