Job Summary:

At HCA Florida Healthcare, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the unit during your designated shift.

Responsibilities:

Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing. A BSN or MSN is preferred.
A minimum of 1 year acute care or specialty experience preferred.
Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, math, analysis, reading, following instruction, basic computer usage. Clinical expertise. Exemplary leadership skills. Tactful communication skills and the ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partners needs. Supervision, delegation, conflict management and team building skills. Flexible and resourceful and able to make decisions quickly
FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire. National professional certification required within one year of meeting requirements for appropriate certification testing.
