Electrical Systems Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Technician to join our Campus Services Electrical Distribution Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and calibration of the installation, operations, metering, and maintenance of Harvard University's low- and medium-voltage distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine testing and calibration of electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable delivery of electric power to the campus.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on low- and medium-voltage distribution systems, including switchboards, circuit breakers, and transformers.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve electrical system issues.
- Develop and implement procedures for electrical system maintenance and testing.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and implement electrical system upgrades.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical system maintenance and testing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Valid MA state driver's license.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
