Job Overview

Position Summary

The Facility Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the activities of personnel engaged in the upkeep and sanitation of commercial, industrial, and healthcare facilities. This role includes a variety of essential tasks aimed at ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delegate tasks to staff members and review completed work to ensure it meets established standards.
  • Supervise employees responsible for floor and carpet maintenance.
  • Manage the distribution of supplies and equipment necessary for operations.
  • Address employee concerns or escalate issues to the Manager as needed.
  • Perform duties alongside supervised staff as required.
  • Directly oversee a team of 2 to 50 employees.
  • Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training processes for new staff.
  • Plan, assign, and direct daily work activities.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise.

Qualifications

A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a cleaning or maintenance role is required. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Reliable transportation is necessary to ensure consistent attendance. Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the position and successfully complete a background check and drug screening as per contractual obligations.
