Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer II - Electronics to join our team in Burlington, MA. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for developing programs for production equipment, providing technical information to senior design engineers, and maintaining configuration management of cables.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop programs for production equipment and provide necessary information to senior design engineers
• Assign cable numbers and maintain configuration management of cables
• Create and maintain routings, bills of material, drawings, detailed assembly and inspection instructions, and visual aids as needed
• Design and create tooling and fixturing to aid production
• Interpret customer and technical specifications, drawings, and engineering instructions, and communicate requirements to the factory
• Analyze current processes and implement improvements to reduce costs and/or increase quality
• Determine production labor and material requirements based on project scope
• Develop and document operating procedures and work instructions to enhance productivity and quality
• Act as a liaison and technical advisor between program managers, customers, and internal departments regarding technical problems, schedule changes, and material availability
Requirements
• Degree in Engineering discipline
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Previous experience with wire/cable manufacturing
• Excellent electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve equipment issues
• Recommended 5+ years of relevant experience
