HCA Capital Division is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. As a RN in our Intermediate Care Unit, you will provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients with acute and/or chronic diagnoses. Our team serves cardiology and medical/surgical patients who may require telemetry or bedside monitoring.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver patient-centered nursing care and participate in patient and family education.
* Monitor heart rhythms, titrate select drips, and utilize critical thinking to manage patient care.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, providers, and patient care staff to create and implement a care plan to meet each patient's needs.
* Utilize computerized documentation systems to monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate.
* Coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
* Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License.
* 1 year of medical surgical nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
* Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification.
