Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the construction of factory-built housing.
- Examine blueprints to determine dimensions of structure and ensure accurate production.
- Study production schedules and assign employees as required to meet production deadlines.
- Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and improve efficiency.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
- Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Calculate time card totals and production records.
- Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials.
- Set up machines and equipment.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Effective planning and scheduling skills.
- Acute attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Team player with a strong ability to build relationships.
