The National Medical Association seeks a visionary Senior Research Project Manager to lead the innovative research project: "Multi-ethnic Multi-level Strategies and Behavioral Economics to Eliminate Hypertension Disparities in LA County." This role is critical in advancing health equity and addressing systemic disparities in hypertension care for underserved communities. As the Senior Research Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the project's planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring its objectives are met with precision and impact.

About the Role:

  • Provide leadership and support to external facilitators, fostering collaboration and alignment with the project's goals.
  • Work closely with primary care clinic teams to help implement effective strategies that empower clinic personnel and improve equitable delivery of care for patients and their communities.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training.
  • Academic background and experience in selected areas of research.
  • Advanced knowledge of administrative, budgetary, human resources, and financial principles and practices.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced ability to think creatively and independently on concepts requiring advanced analytical skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups to achieve results.
  • Highly skilled fundraising experience required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $102,500-$227,700. The benefits package includes opportunities for professional growth and development.
