Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Communications Assistant to join our team at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. As a Marketing Communications Assistant, you will play a key role in enhancing our communication and connectivity with Chamber members, promoting the Chamber and its members through various platforms, and supporting the Sr. Marketing and Communications Manager in daily and weekly member communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage regular email campaigns and develop and post content across social media platforms.
- Post member news on the Chamber news blog and promote community activities and events throughout the year.
- Create and edit graphic design collateral for various applications, including programming, events, and signage.
- Coordinate with vendors for branded promotional materials and create and edit photo and video content for marketing purposes.
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm for Springfield and for Chamber member organizations.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Constant Contact.
- Strong skills in photography, videography, and editing.
- Excellent writing and copy-editing abilities.
- Effective communicator with strong email management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organization skills to manage deadlines and track projects.

Working Conditions:

Reliable source of transportation required. Most travel will not exceed 15 miles one way. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
