Position Overview:

  • Deliver prompt and courteous food service to patrons under general supervision
  • Prepare, serve, and dismantle assigned events safely and efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and execute set-up as directed
  • Arrange tables in designated areas accurately and consistently
  • Maintain a tidy service station while following established protocols
  • Manage in-room clearing, tray breakdown, and service table equipment properly
  • Assist Lead Event Server in preparing and dismantling special food service tables
  • Greet and serve guests in accordance with established standards
  • Follow guest check and cash-handling procedures
  • Complete assigned side tasks efficiently
  • Provide attentive service to guests throughout their dining experience
  • Availability for flexible scheduling including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: At least 3 months in a similar position
  • Knowledge/Skills: Basic understanding of customer service, food service, and restaurant operations

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift trays, dish racks, and carry items weighing up to specified pounds
  • Capable of bending/kneeling and maneuvering in tight spaces
  • Stand continuously during service hours
  • Reading comprehension and ability to follow instructions accurately

Work Environment:

This position involves physically demanding tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and carrying throughout the shift in an indoor environment. Some areas may experience lower temperatures.
