RECRUITMENT NOTICE

Position: Audio Visual Support Specialist

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the operation of audio and visual systems across various facilities.
  • Ensure optimal quality and dependability of audio and visual signals, encompassing sound, lighting, projection, recording, streaming, and broadcasting.
  • Diagnose and rectify any technical difficulties or malfunctions that may occur during sessions, hearings, meetings, or events.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of audio/visual equipment and software.
  • Collaborate with integrators and vendors for servicing, repairing, updating, or replacing audio and visual equipment as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to staff and guests on the effective use and operation of audio and visual systems.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in broadcast engineering or communications technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills to assist non-technical users.
  • 2-5 years of experience in AV networking and infrastructure preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hybrid environment utilizing conferencing tools.
  • Relevant certifications in hardware/software applications are advantageous.
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing 30 lbs. or more and work in various physical conditions.
  • Willingness to work additional hours as needed to meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with various audio/visual technologies and software, including but not limited to conferencing systems and digital signal processors.
