The Regional Sales Manager - Eastern Territory is responsible for managing the sales territory and promoting Aliaxis' piping products, with a focus on the Multi Fittings waterworks product line in the Eastern Region. This role requires a strong understanding of the municipal and waterworks industry, as well as excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and Motivate Local Representatives: Provide guidance and direction to local representatives to ensure they meet their sales objectives.
- Establish Sales Objectives: Set and monitor sales objectives for local representatives, ensuring they align with Aliaxis' overall sales strategy.
- Generate New Business: Utilize existing and potential customer networks to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, including distributor partners, contractors, engineers, and end-users.
- Obtain Favorable Product Specifications: Work with local engineering firms to obtain favorable product specifications for Aliaxis' products.
- Plan and Allocate Resources: Plan and allocate time and resources to ensure sales goals are met, and track leads and project opportunities.
- Manage Regional Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement a regional pricing strategy that aligns with Aliaxis' overall pricing strategy.
- Interact with Internal Departments: Collaborate with internal departments, such as Customer Service, Operations, Logistics, and Marketing, to ensure seamless communication and execution of sales strategies.
- Provide Technical Presentations: Deliver technical presentations and on-site training to engineers, contractors, and distributor partners to promote Aliaxis' products.
- Resolve Customer Conflicts: Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Education: College degree required, with a preference for engineering or business.
- Experience: 3-5 years of sales experience in the municipal and waterworks industry, with a strong understanding of the industry's technical and business aspects.
- Skills: Strong technical, analytical, negotiating, and communication skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and CRM software.
- Travel: Regular travel within the sales territory is required, with occasional travel to Aliaxis' headquarters and other locations as needed.
