Job Opportunity

Harco Fittings, a member of the IPEX group of companies, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our Waterworks division. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-established territory with a network of national distributors and significant demand for Harco products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities through existing and potential customer networks.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Obtain and maintain favorable product specifications with local municipalities.
  • Plan and allocate resources to ensure sales goals are met.
  • Track qualified leads and project opportunities.
  • Interact with internal departments, such as Customer Service, Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
  • Provide technical presentations and on-site training to Utility Contractors, Waterworks Distributors, and Water and Sewer Municipalities.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree, BA or BS (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of sales experience preferred in the Municipal or Waterworks Industry.
  • Must live in the assigned territory and be willing to travel overnight at least 2-3 nights a week.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM Software.
  • Intuition for business with a problem-solving attitude.
