Audit and Compliance Specialist

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
Job DescriptionThis Senior Risk Management Professional role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure the continued success of AECC-Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation.
Responsibilities include collaborating with the Manager and Director of Risk Management to define initial engagement scope and objectives, designing audit work programs, testing strategies, and detailed testing procedures.
Additional responsibilities include executing audit activities, constructing draft deliverables, and communicating results via written reports and oral presentations to management, executive leadership, and other business owners.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, plus at least 5 years' related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPA or CIA certification is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail are essential for this role.
