Cybersecurity Specialist

Position Overview:

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets. Key Responsibilities:

- Execute hands-on implementation and ongoing maintenance of cyber security tools and solutions to align with business and security goals, including Secure Internet Proxy, Anti-malware, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, NIDS/HIDS technologies, and Data Leakage Prevention solutions.
- Lead the comprehensive vulnerability management process across enterprise resources and facilitate risk mitigation.
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report on security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain cyber playbooks, knowledgebase articles, and documentation to support team operations and security processes.
- Assist in managing the complete security incident response workflow.
- Oversee the collection of relevant and actionable Threat Intelligence (TI) and enhance TI platforms.
- Conduct gap analyses on security controls, support the fortification of baseline security configurations, and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation strategies.
- Recommend appropriate solutions to mitigate cyber security risks.

Qualifications:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on enhancing or automating processes.
- A proactive attitude and a desire to expand knowledge in emerging technologies, including container and cloud security.
- Solid understanding of both defensive and offensive cybersecurity principles.
- Practical experience in designing and implementing security technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Vulnerability Management tools and network scanning technologies.
- Technical expertise in firewalling, networking, and security principles related to network segmentation.
